Compare and contrast the funeral in Islam and Buddhism in reference to Hungry Ghost.
In my knowledge, the funeral ceremony in both religious will be attend almost by the corpse relatives, their neighbor and also closed friends. In both religious there will be a person who will conduct the ceremony from the beginning until the last day the corpse buried.
In Islam, the funeral lasted for seven days. However, in Buddhism, the funeral lasted forty-nine days. In Islam, the corpse family will be visiting by the guest to have a pray to the corpse compare to the Buddhism which is they have a music and they invite a group who play songs and sang at funeral ceremony like at the wedding ceremony.
